    Whole 3 Ideas Booklet

I've put everything I've written and posted here on my website into one file, called - 3 Ideas Booklet - in a public folder, called - Whole 3 Ideas Booklet. A few parts are not yet complete, but I am working to complete them as soon as possible.  Downloading the file will put everything I've written about Provisionalism and Thomasan Democracy, so far, into your hands all at one time.  If you read everything, carefully, you should get a very good grasp of what they are all about.

    Summary State Legislatures Plan

A Verbal Summary of – The P T State Legislatures Plan

The primary purpose of – The P T State Legislatures Plan (which is – a sub-plan – of The P T Plan) – is for The P T Partyto gain CONTROL of 2/3 or more of the seats in both houses of ¾ or more of the states.  That is to enable ¾ or more of the states – NOT to start with Article V and go from therebut TO AMEND Article V’s provisions for amendment – and go from THERE.  The intention is to – amend the provisions for amendment – to enable Congress - to propose “amendments and/or revisions” of the Constitution – but when the proposal is for revision – Congress shall have the power to call A National Constitutional Revision Convention – with equal representation by delegates from ALL of the states – and THEN for the revised Constitution (having been ratified by 2/3 of the delegates) – to be submitted to ALL of the American electorate for ratification – by a 2/3 or more majority vote.

The Proposed – Amendment of Article V’s Provisions for Amendments

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, may propose amendments to this Constitution and shall submit such a proposed amendment or amendments to a vote of ALL eligible American voters for ratification by a 2/3 or more majority vote.  Also, the Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, may propose a significant revision of this Constitution, and in such case, shall have the power to call for – A National Constitutional Revision Convention – with equal representation by delegates from ALL of the states.  Furthermore, Congress shall have the power to pass laws governing the details of operation of such a revision convention, however, the revised Constitution must be passed by a 2/3 or more majority vote of all delegates, and shall then be submitted to the entire American electorate and must be ratified by a 2/3 or more majority vote of ALL eligible voters.  Additionally, a specific amendment or amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by petitions signed by ½ or more of the eligible voters of ½ or more of the states.  When such a requirement is met, the proposed amendment or amendments shall be submitted to the entire American electorate and must be ratified by a 2/3 or more majority vote of ALL eligible voters.  Similarly, a call for a significant revision of this Constitution may be made by petitions signed by ½ or more of the eligible voters of ½ or more of the states.  When such a requirement is met, it shall automatically be a call for – A National Constitutional Revision Convention.  The operation of such a convention shall be governed by previous provisions of this amendment article, and also, ratifications of such a revised Constitution shall be governed by previous provisions of this amendment article.  Nevertheless, no revision of this Constitution shall deny equal representation to every state in the Senate, as well as representation which is proportional to the population of every state in the House of Representatives.

    Notes On More Direct Democracy

When our original Constitution was written, ratification was made by a very small number of persons.  Article VII (7), stipulated that ratification would be by the conventions of 9 states (out of 13, which is a little less than ¾ ). That, and other aspects of our original Constitution, reflected – a lack of actual trust in “the people” – by our political leaders – at that time.  For example, our original Constitution – did NOT – allow the direct election of the President, Vice President and state Senators.  Over the past 220 year, our “democracy” has gradually become more “democratic.”  This proposed – amendment of the Article on amendments“opens up our democracy even more directly to ‘the people’.”  It sends any proposed amendment or amendments – directly to ALL of the people for a vote – instead of to the legislatures.  It also sends – a revised Constitution directly to ALL of the people for a vote – instead of the legislatures.  Yet, my proposals for – more direct democracy as part of Thomasan Democracy – don’t stop there. This proposed amendment to the Article on amendments – also – puts more power directly into the hands of the people, the REAL people, the “ordinary and average Americans” who are the majority.  It gives THEM (as well as Congress) the power to propose a specific amendment or amendments, along with any possible future – significant revision or revisions of our Constitution.

Verbal Summary of P T Plan

A Verbal Summary of The P T Plan

The primary purpose of – The P T Plan – is to establish Provisionalism and Thomasan Democracy in the entire United States (or perhaps in 1 or more of the states, such as – PA).  To be a little more specific – it is a plan to follow the existing US Constitution’s provisions for Amendment, but to go farther than just a few amendments – it is to – revise it – to enable a legal and peaceful – conversion of the US economic system FROM Capitalism TO Provisionalism – as well as to convert our current American democracy TO Thomasan Democracy.  The Plan (an abbreviation of – The P T Plan) starts by forming – a completely new national political party The P T Party – with sub-organizations of it in EVERY STATE.  Next, the party actively seeks out “ordinary people”, average Americans, from the middle and lower class MAJORITY – to become party candidates – in every Congressional district of every state – to oppose every existing Republican and Democratic representative in the House of Representatives and the Senate.  This is with the intention of – “voting everyone out” – that is, voting OUT of OFFICE – all of the many “incumbents” who have held those offices for a long time, yet, have cooperated with – “the ruling elite minority” – to keep AN EXCLUSIVE HOLD on political power for THEIR benefit – while SHUTING OUT virtually ALL members of the middle and lower class MAJORITY.  As a secondary purpose – this action is to – send a WARNING to all present and future political leaders that – “the people”, the majority, have come  to – recognize and applya greater power by their majority votesto bring about a LEGAL and PEACEFUL “revolution” – whereby they CAN and WILL – VOTE OUT the entire gang of government officials, IF they get disgusted with their actions or lack of actions – as well as – to bring about a LEGAL and PEACEFUL “revolution” to significantly CHANGE entire systems.  For decades and generations, the current “gang’ of entrenched politicians, have shown little interest in or willingness to effectively help – to actually put significant political power in the hands of “the people”, the REAL people, the majority of “ordinary people.”  Therefore, they cannot and should not be trusted to cooperate with the majority of Americans to establish “Prov.” and “T.D.”, which better serves THEIR INTERESTS and which will ultimately give that majorityeven more political poweras well as the power to have some democratic control over the economy and their own “economic fate” – FOR THE FIRST TIME.  The members of The P T Party – will ONLY vote for P T Party and “Pro Prov.” candidates, while totally ignoring all Republican and Democratic candidates.   All of that is for the ultimate purpose of – gaining complete control over Congress – to begin passing laws which better serve the interests of – the middle and lower class majority.  In particular, that includes, according to Article V (5) of the Constitution, having ¾ of the members in the House AND Senate vote to – send a proposal for the REVISION of the US Constitution to ALL the states to expand and modify that document to establish – Thomasan Democracy – and Provisionalism.

Text of – Article V (5) of the Constitution – Provisions for Amendment

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Details of Phase 1 of P T Plan

The 3 Phases and 33 Steps of The P T Plan  (“P T” stands for Provisionalist

and Thomasan Democratic Plan – to establish them)

(In brief and simple – outline form)

Phase 1:  The Election of The “Pre” – P T Government

    1.  The Intention of Creating - The P T Party - (Provisionalist – Thomasan Democracy):  Those who want to convert the American economy FROM Capitalism TO Provisionalism, as well as modify and expand our current American democracy TO Thomasan Democracy – will need to start by forming – a completely new political party.  There are 2 reasons for that:  1. No one who really wants to apply The Plan should trust the members and leaders of the 2 established American political parties – the Republican and the Democratic parties – because they are in fact part of – “the establishment”, part of the problem.  Some of them, maybe even a lot of them, might SAY they support The Plan (short for – The P T Plan), but we all know that politicians can be liars, opportunists or obstructionists.  It would be much better for a large group of “ordinary citizens”, people who were never a part of the existing political system, people who are from the middle and lower class majority, to form a new party – which they can organize, control and take action with themselves. 2.  To establish such very new, innovative and even “peacefully revolutionary” systems such as – the Prov. (short for – the Provisionalist system) and – TD (short for – Thomasan Democracy) – it almost necessitates a totally new political party. That way, everyone and everything about The Plan and the people who want to apply it is truly and totally new.

    2.  The Intention of Replacing EVERY Member of the US Congress:  Along with a totally new political party, the best way to begin applying The Plan, and establishing a whole new economic system and a modified and expanded democracy – IS to make it a point to offer candidates – for every seat in Congress (House and Senate) with the intention of  “voting everyone out”, and starting completely fresh.  That is the only way to GUARANTEE that there are – no obstructionists – left in Congress – to obstruct, sabotage, revise or weaken The Plan or the intended organization of the new Economic and Political governments.

    3.  The Intention of Replacing the President and Vice-President:  For all the same reasons as step 2, candidates from WITHIN The P T Party, who are “ordinary people”, who will truly represent the majority, should be offered as candidates for President and Vice-President as part of this plan – to change the entire, existing American government as a prelude – to changing the entire American way of government and way of handling an economic system.

    4.  The P T Party Begins Forming – A Tentative Conversion Plan (From Cap. To Prov.):  It will be necessary for the P T Party to begin forming a more or less detailed plan to deal with all of the major and minor problems and complications in – actually changing everything about the existing government and economy TO the details of Prov. and TD.  That is because it would be risky and senseless to try to begin doing all of that AFTER a new Congress is elected.  A great deal of “lead time” is required for such a massive operation.  This will become – The Very Detailed CONVERSION Plan To “Prov.” And “TD.”

    5.  The P T Party Begins Forming – A Tentative:  First National Economic Plan:  For the same reasons that The P T Party must start early to formulate a more or less detailed plan for the conversion of Capitalist systems to Provisionalist systems – The P T Party – must begin formulating at least a tentative plan forThe First (US) National Economic Plan.  With that general plan, containing some details, a committee of the newly elected “Pro Prov.” Congress should meet with P T Party leaders and technical advisors to refine – The First National Economic Plan – on the basis of Provisionalist principles, especially the  “MEPNessities”high, mid and low PRIORITIES – plus, along the organizational lines of the Economic Government, specifically – the  Ministries of:  1. Planning and Prioritization.  2. Production and Provision of Services.  and 3. Distribution of Goods and Services.  That way, once the entire Provisionalist Economic Government is established by the Revised U.S. Constitution – and all elective offices are filled – The Ministry of Planning and Prioritization can finalize all of the details and apply them.  Then, a well planned Prov. economy will begin.

    6.  Assembly of a Group of “Pro Prov.” Candidates:  As the new P T Party is forming, it should seek out worthy “P T” candidates for EVERY SEAT in Congress among all of the states.  They  MUST BE“Pro Prov.” candidates who understand – The P T Plan and understand and fully agree with the ideas of Provisionalism and Thomasan Democracy.  IF the party is satisfied with them as candidates – it will encourage every P T Party member in every district to fully turn out to vote for our candidate, as well as encourage every member of the middle and lower class MAJORITYto ignore any and all Republican and Democratic party candidates in those districts, on the basis of the idea that – they are NOT truly representative of the American majority, they don’t really intend to serve the interests of that majority and only “Pro Prov.” candidates will put the American economy and government into the hands of “ordinary people”, for the first time – and will begin to establish a new economic system which solves the BIG 4 problems of Capitalism, and which will BEST SERVE the economic NEEDS of all Americans.

    7.  Candidates Sign – “A Contract With the People”:  To guarantee that the whole group of “Pro Prov.” candidates – WILL DO what they are being elected TO DOafter they are elected – they will ALL be asked to sign a special contract with the people.   In that contract they pledge to do what they are being elected to do, once they are in office – AND that – IF they fail or refuse to do what they pledged in the contract they will either pay a fine of $10,000, OR, serve 1 year in prison, as well as being RECALLED from their elected office.  This is to guarantee that candidates we trusted and elected to do specific things to serve our interestsdon’t betray us.  We understand that it is NOT beyond the possibility that “our candidates” might sell us out (with bribes from “the ruling elite”), or do as they please in office to serve their own personal interests.

    8. Phased Election of Only “Pro Prov.” Candidates:  The P T Party can offer “Pro Prov.” candidates for ALL of the seats in the House of Representatives, but the election of candidates for the Senate will have to proceed in phases – due to Article I (1) in the Constitution, Section 3, item 2.  That will prevent us from gaining total and immediate control over the Senate, yet, we will still be able to accomplish a lot with total and immediate control over the House and partial control over the Senate. Eventually, we will control the whole Congress and proceed according to plan.

    US Economic Plan - 1

(My) Proposed - First U.S. National Economic Plan

    Outline And Some Details

High Priority 1 – Agriculture:  Maximize agricultural production to guarantee Minimum Equal Provision of Food Necessities (“MEPNessities”) to every American, as well as surpluses to give free to needy nations.  Sub-Priority 1:  Draw (through Incentive Wages) more workers to agricultural activities, as needed.

High Priority 2 – Building Materials:  Maximize production of building materials, as part of the plan to start a massive home building program to provide housing to those citizens who have none, as well as those citizens who have – inadequate or sub-standard housing.  Also for the purpose of “up-grading” existing housing to meet MEPNessity standards.  Sub-Priority 1:  Draw (through Incentive Wages) more workers to building materials production and construction crews.

High  Priority 3 – Furniture And Household Goods, Plus Materials to Build Them:  Maximize production of materials to make furniture and basic household goods, as well as to made the furniture and household good themselves.  Sub-Priority 1:  Draw (through Incentive Wages) more workers to the production of materials to make furniture and basic household goods, as well as to make the furniture and household goods themselves.

High Priority 4 – Textiles And Clothing:  Maximize production of textiles to make clothing and the actual production of clothing themselves.  Sub-Priority 1:  Draw (through Incentive Wages) more workers to the production of textiles and the production of clothing.

    US Economic Plan - 2

High Priority 5 – 4 Types of MEPNessity Centers:  Begin a plan of constructing 4 types of strategically and/or centrally placed distribution centers for: 1. Foods – directly to citizens.  2.  Storage of building materials – for construction crews.  3.  Furniture and household goods – directly to citizens.  4.  Clothing – directly to citizens.

High Priority 6 – Inventory, Manage And Redirect:  A. Develop a detailed plan – as soon as possible – for the most precise inventory possible of  all available resources – land, labor, capital goods, production and storage facilities, distribution methods and means, “MEPNessities On Hand” (food, clothing, unoccupied adequate housing, furniture & household goods – in retail and wholesale stores, plus wholesale warehouses).  B. Develop a detailed plan – as soon as possible – to begin to manage some inevitable confusion and chaos during The P T Interim Period – by working from BOTH an overall view, as well as local “seeing things as they are” surveys.  C. Develop a detailed plan – as soon as possible – to redirect various resources and activities – according to Provisionalist principles, Constitutional guidelines, and specific laws of the P T government.

High Priority 7 – Asses, Manage And Apply Comprehensive Health Care:  A. By teams going to every known hospital and healthcare facility – begin to asses the NEEDS and ABILITIES of the existing healthcare “system” to provide comprehensive healthcare to every citizen who NEEDS anything.  B. Using other teams, begin to manage the major and overall operations of the existing healthcare “system”, so as to integrate it into a real and effective system.  C. Using other teams, as many available hospital and other facilities records, and public community communications – begin to match persons with high and moderate level healthcare NEEDS to any and all available hospital and other healthcare FACILITIES.

    US Economic Plan - 3

High Priority 8 – Keep Society, The Economy And Government Running As Normally As Possible:  A. Send observation teams to every city and as many towns as possible – to observe exactly what’s going on throughout – and begin to make whatever adjustments seem necessary and possible – so that life for nearly all Americans (those who are missed will be taken care of as soon as possible) continues as normally as possible, and more or less according to with what they were familiar – except as they conflict with Provisionalist principles, Constitutional guidelines, and specific laws of the P T government.  B. Set up – call-in complaints centers – to record various citizen complaints – to be passed on to the leaders of – The Ministry of Planning And Prioritization – for working out solutions.

Mid-Priority  9 – Listing, Expanding And Applying The Work Force:  Begin to compile a state by state – national list of every person in – the known work force, the unemployed and other people for whom some sort of jobs can be found.  A. Then begin to match up members of the known work force with existing jobs they will (or may) continue to do, plus looking for workers who may be asked to do NEW JOBS according to the First National Economic Plan.  B.  Begin to find jobs for all those who had been unemployed.  C. Study the list of potential workers to access possible existing skills, as well as the possibilities of education and/or training to do typical jobs or perhaps unique, new, innovative jobs.  Aim to find – some sort of productive, useful work for about 98% of the healthy, adult population.

Mid-Priority  10 – Finding Workers And Managers For Licensed, Small Scale, Private Enterprises:  Using the inventories of existing small businesses  and potential new, small scale, private enterprises – plan on getting elected Boards of Directors for those units – plan on getting existing managers “formally assigned” to continue management, or to find new managers to become part of – Management Triads.  Plan to get existing workers “formally assigned” to continue working, and to find new workers willing to take  jobs in those units.  Small scale, private enterprise units will include such things as:  1. Restaurants.  2. Small hotels and motels.  3. Barber shops and beauty salons.  4. Repair shops (especially for autos).  5. Theaters.  6. Night clubs.  7. Bookstores. 8. Computers and computer supplies shops.  Etc.

    US Economic Plan - 4

Mid-Priority  11 – Coastal Desalination Plants:  Begin planning, designing and construction of coastal desalination plants in key Atlantic and Pacific coast cities, plus Gulf of Mexico cities – to expand the supply of fresh drinking water, as well as water for agricultural irrigation.  The cities will include:  1. Boston.  2. New York City.  3. Norfolk.  4. Savannah. 5.  Miami.  6. New Orleans.  7. Galveston (also serving Houston). 8. San Diego.  9. Los Angeles.  10. San Francisco.  11. Astoria (also serving Portland).  12. Seattle.

Note – Home Mortgages and Car Payments:  Since one of the basic features of Provisionalism is to – provide equal PROVISIONS of necessities – to everyone in terms of food, clothing, housing and certain other things (which will include – A HOME and A CAR [hydrogen powered as soon as possible]) – everyone who is paying a mortgage on a home in which they are living while they are buying it – once the revised Constitution is ratified (which means “Prov.” as the new economic system has been legally accepted) – their mortgage will be nullified. All such persons will be given full, personal, ownership of their home. The same thing will be true about a car which anyone is driving while they are making payments on it.  Once “Prov.” is established – their debt on the car – will be nullified – and they will be given full possession of it.

    US Economic Plan - 5

Mid-Priority  12 – Full Scale Production of Hydrogen Powered Cars:  Since workable designs – on hydrogen powered cars already exist – when Provisionalism becomes operable – production of gasoline powered cars will cease – and several production plants will be “retooled” to enable – full scale production of such hydrogen powered cars.  That will begin to – STOP the emissions of “greenhouse gases” – which will ALSO begin to help STOP global warming.  As such cars are produced, they will first be given – as part of the MEPNessities – to those who don’t have ANY car. Later, they will be given as replacements for gasoline powered cars.

Mid-Priority  13 – Converting to Renewable Energy Sources:  We should develop a plan, as soon as  possible, for the conversion, as rapidly as possible, FROM polluting and non-renewable energy sources (such as coal, oil, natural gas, etc.) TO renewable and non-polluting energy sources, such as: 1. Solar.  2. Wind.  3. Geothermal.  4. Hydroelectric.  5. Wave action.

Mid-Priority  14 – Integrating All Public Media Into Cohesive Networks:  Begin integrating all national public: radio, television, telephone, public computer networks and other such systems – into cohesive networks and systems to meet the multifaceted information and communications needs of the nation.

Mid-Priority  15 – Separating Parts Of The Existing Mass Media To Establish Licensed PRIVATE Media:  Begin separating certain parts of the existing mass media to form licensed, PRIVATE, media organizations – to provide an immediate “counter-balance” to the public media.  Set up elected Boards of Directors, Management Triads and keep or find workers to make such organizations immediately operable.

    More will follow.

    Proposal For The U.E.S.S.

Proposal For The U.E.S.S. (United English Speaking States)

Of the several possible unifications I’ve proposed in my – Unifications Proposals Plan – on the principle of – Trans-Nationalism – I think 1 of them would be the best and the easiest to form.  I’m proposing the formation of – The United English Speaking States (The U.E.S.S.). As the name suggests, the primary basis of unity is that we all speak the same language – English.  That’s important.  It is so much easier for people to come together if they speak the same language and can immediately communicate with each other.  The proposed union would include:  1. The U.S.  2. The U.K.  3. Canada.  4. Australia.  5. New Zealand.  6. South Africa.

We all also:  1. Mostly have the same religion – Christianity.  2. Are all well developed and industrialized nations.  3. Have good diplomatic relations with each other (we were allies in 2 World Wars).  4. Have similar cultures.  5. Have the same political and economic philosophies and systems.  Everything about each nation – internally – can and should remain exactly the same.  We would all simply form – “a Federal union” – like the Unites States.  The greatest and most obvious benefit of uniting into 1 nation would be – we would become the overwhelmingly most powerful nation on Earth in almost every way, especially militarily.  How could any other nation attack or defeat us when we are all over the globe?  It would exemplify the principle – “In UNITY is strength!”  So why don’t we urge our 6 national governments to begin discussions on the idea?

    3 Page Summary - 1

A 3 Page Summary of Provisionalism & Thomasan Democracy

    1

Trying to – sum up – in a few sentences or paragraphs – a very large set of ideas, which can only be – fully presented and explained – in many words and pages – is extremely difficult.  I would ask – YOU – to try to give a very good general explanation of Capitalism to someone who never lived in such a system and knows absolutely nothing about it – in only 2 paragraphs.  Furthermore, I would ask – YOU – to try to explain to someone WHY Capitalism is – a BETTER system – than, lets say, Merchantilism (the system which existed before Capitalism) – when you, yourself, don’t really understand Capitalism very well, and know NOTHING about Merchantilism.  IF – you don’t really know or understand anything about other economic systemsthen HOW could you possibly know and be sure that “your system” is the BEST?  To make matters worse – imagine that the person to whom you are trying to explain WHY Capitalism – is a BETTER systemalso – does NOT really understand Capitalism, and knows NOTHING about any other economic systems.  You would have to take the time to carefully and effectively EXPLAIN Capitalism, and then EXPLAIN the other system, and finally to – EXPLAIN, point by point, WHY Capitalism is BETTER!  Most people are in no position whatsoever to even attempt such a thing.  Most people don’t really understand Capitalism.  IF you asked the average person to explain Capitalism to an economics teacher, who would know for sure IF that person’s explanation is accurate, most people couldn’t do it.  They might be able to do it IF they had taken a college, or even a high school, course in economics, and remembered very well what they had learned.  Again, however, most persons have NEVER taken an economics course, or even studied economics very carefully on their own.  Furthermore, most people – don’t know ANYTHING about other economic systems, at least not well enough to accurately explain them to someone in 20 minute or 4 paragraphs.

    3 Page Summary - 2

On the basis of what I’ve just written – I can make some bold and very accurate predictions about how “the average American” would or could react or respond to hearing about Provisionalism for the first time.  First, as I said, most people don’t really understand Capitalism very well.  Second, most people – either don’t know ANYTHING about other economic systems, or, don’t know enough about other economic systems to EXPLAIN them WELL. Third, I can just about guarantee that – NO ONE – KNOWS ANYTHING – about Provisionalism (my whole new economic system), because I’m just now (May, 2008) beginning to present it and explain it.  It would take – “the average American” – at least a few days to carefully read all of the written material about Provisionalism which I’m presenting and explaining here.  Only then, on the basis of clearknowledge and understanding – would ANYONE be in a realistic position to argue that – Capitalism is BETTER than Provisionalism.  And that is still assuming that any given person understands Capitalism very well.  So, IF a person – does NOT YET know anything about Provisionalism – and DOESN’T understand Capitalism very well – then that person is in NO POSITION to make an effective argument that Capitalism is BETTER than Provisionalism.  Fourth, most people tend to just give “a gut reaction” and express an emotional opinion – NOT backed up by any – knowledge and understanding – when I make the claim that Provisionalism is BETTER than Capitalism.  However, I had both a high school AND a college course in Economics.  I made an “A” grade in each course.  I’ve been studying economics most of my life.  I can and have written accurate explanations of Capitalism. Now, I’m presenting and explaining the new economic system which I took years to “design.” So I am in an excellent position to make the argument that – Provisionalism is BETTER.

    3 Page Summary - 3

IF someone, anyone, wants to make an argument with me that – Capitalism is BETTER than Provisionalism – they are going to have to do their “homework” and demonstrate some qualifications – first.  I’ll enumerate them now:  1. They are going to have to take the time to read everything I’ve written and presented here (including, downloading my public files) about my new economic system – Provisionalism.  2. I would like that person to write a 1 page explanation of Capitalism and let me read it somehow.  3. I would like that person to write at least 2 or 3 paragraphs about what they have learned about Provisionalism.  4. THEN, I would like that person to make – a point by point argument, explaining HOW and WHY Capitalism is better than Provisionalism.  Once a person does that – I will do exactly the same in the opposite direction.  But for now, I’ll give about a 3 page summation of Provisionalism and Thomasan Democracy.  (Note: To save some space I’ll use abbreviations for Provisionalism – of “Prov.” or just P. – and Thomasan Democracy  - T.D. or just T.)  The previous page (#1) will NOT count as the first of 3 pages.  This page (#2) is the first of 3 pages.

    3 Page Summary - 4

Provisionalism is an economic system which I began to “design” based on 3 key points: 1. Cooperation. 2. Survival of BOTH individuals and society as a whole. 3. Providing equal PROVISIONS of necessities to everyone (food, clothing, housing, household goods and a few other things).  It blends some of the best points of Capitalism, some of the best points of Socialism, eliminates their “bad or undesirable points”, and adds some completely new ideas.  Thus, Prov. is NOT Capitalism, it’s NOT Socialism, it has features of both plus some new ideas which make it a distinct and unique system.  It uses Capitalism’s best features of – protection of individual rights and freedoms (according to American principles of democracy), as well as allowing for – “individual initiatives and rewards” – and limited, licensed, small private enterprise. It also applies Capitalism’s recognition of and protection of – private property.  It uses Socialism’s best features of – assuring the physical (bodily) and economic survival of society as a whole, which, in turn, helps to assure the physical (bodily) and economic survival of each and every individual.  It does NOT emphasize the interests, rights or survival of society as a whole OVER that of individuals (which seemed to be a point of Socialism) – NOR does it emphasize the interests, rights or survival of individuals OVER society as a whole (which is a point of Capitalism).  It establishes ways – to blend and balance both.  Unlike Socialism’s (according to some thinkers) and Communism’s (definite) doctrine of – “the dictatorship of the proletariat” (which simply means “the people” act like “dictators” THROUGH the elected party leaders) – Prov. emphasizes democracy in every way and at every level.  There is NO dictatorship of any sort in P., and I distinctly advocate democracy instead of dictatorship. “The State”, or the Federal or State governments, have no power to exert a tyranny over the people. In fact, with the combined features of T.D., the whole new system provides more and better protections of the people and some unique “guards” (called – “watchers”) over every branch of government at both the Federal and State levels.
